Best Ab Workout
Best ab workout is a topic that a lot of my clients, family and friends are always discussing with me. Having been involved and working in the fitness industry for most of my professional life they are always poking me for new advice and tips on the latest and greatest ways to have a perfect flat stomach. I always without exception tell them to experiment with as many possible types of exercise equipment to find what works best for them.
Obviously jumping to soon from one to the other is not what I mean. Spending the correct amount of time on each one and doing them correctly under trained supervision is from the utmost importance.
For me personally the best ab workout revolves around first strengthening the most important part of your body that supports all the abdominal muscles, namely the lower back muscles. There is no point in doing all the correct exercises for a flat stomach, but your lower back muscles are weak. You are almost certainly setting yourself up for injury then and regular visits to the doctor. The correct sequence of exercises are needed to build the perfect looking stomach. All the muscles in your core need to be inĀ balance with each other to obtain this goal.
Lets briefly look at some of the important steps you can take to get you on your way to your goal. Know that it’s going to take time. Be honest about that one and set obtainable goals based on your personality. Find a reputable gym and personal trainer. You do not have to belong or go to the gym forever, but you need to learn from someone that knows what they are doing. Make sure your trainer knows your full medical and or history of injuries so that he or she can adapt your programme accordingly. Please find a training partner. This is one of the most important steps you can take. It has been proven that people are 75% more prone to stick with an exercise plan if they are doing it with someone that has similar goals.
